Working lace producing machines are the core of De Kantfabriek Museum. Here the story of the textile industry in the region is told, supplemented with tantalising temporary exhibitions.
The textile documentation centre is an extensive lending library of handicraft and textile books with more than 9,000 books, unique to the Netherlands. In addition it is a library with the local history of Horst and a genealogy department.
